The French Cottage was perfect for our 3 night stay. The bed was super comfortable and warm, pillows were great too. The breakfast was very generous and well presented with plenty of tea and coffee. The open fire was an absolute bonus.

The breakfast was excellent and one of the best I've experienced for a prepare your own. On arrival it was lovely to have complementary refreshments and cheese/biscuits most appreciated.

You can tell that the host and the team maintaining the place puts in a lot of thought and effort. Small details like having bath salts or a bubble bath just made you feel that they have really thought through the experience for the guests! Decoration was on point, the room was clean and the stay just felt luxurious (at a very affordable price point!)

Instructions were clear and keys were easy to locate. Communication was good. Breakfast provisions were excellent. Location was fabulous with a nearby supermarket and easy access to city. Location was quiet. Bed was good. Bathroom was great.
